Truss Department Foreman

Topsider Homes (located in Clemmons, NC), designer and fabricator of high-end, custom post and beam residential homes (not mobile or modular) sold and shipped in component form worldwide since 1968, seeks a motivated individual for a Truss Department Foreman position.
| Qualifications: | Must have a stable work background, have good communication skills and be good at math and paperwork - and certified (or certifiable) to operate a forklift. |
| Experience: | Minimum of five (5) years timber framing, woodworking, furniture manufacturing, cabinet making or similar experience. Candidates must have expert level knowledge of table saws, radial arm saws and panel saws and working with and assembling roof and floor trusses. Ability to read tape measures, shop drawings and cut lists is a requirement. |
| Education: | High school diploma or equivalent. |
| Reports To: | Manufacturing Manager |
| Work Schedule: | Normal work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus additional time as required to meet workload demands. |
| Compensation: | From $21/hr to start, based on experience and qualifications. |
| Benefits: | PPO health plan, including dental and vision, paid holidays and vacation policy. |
